CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia 2008 Press Conference

CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia will take place between 7-12 October 2008 in Istanbul, Turkey.

In 2007 CeBIT Bilisim had 908 exhibitors from 20 countries and 149,655 visitors from 67 countries and for 2008 is targeting 1000 exhibitors and 150,000 visitors from 70 countries, especially from the business segment, in its 60,000 square meters exhibition area.
“We are not targeting an increase in number of visitors, but a higher proportion of business visitors at CeBIT Bilisim in the future. Last year we had 40,500 decision makers coming and in 2008 we expect 44,000 of them to come to the fair, so 10 percent more than last year. We hope we can create a bridge between Europe and Eurasia and that the fair will be the number one bridge for the ICT sector”, said Safak Alpay.

SMEs will benefit from a special price system at CeBIT Bilisim 2008.

Homeland Security is a new section at the fair this year, in the Business World area.
