Vodafone Romania All-IP network completed by Huawei

Liliana Solomon, CEO Vodafone Romania, announced todaz that the operator completed the migration of its network to a single All-IP platform, which now supports all of its 2G and 3G services as well as fixed voice and data services. The IP network of Vodafone Romania is already ready for WiMAX and LTE, said Liliana Solomon. The provider for the All-IP platform was Huawei.
Vodafone Romania now offers HSDPA 7.2 Mbps for download and HSUPA 1,44 for upload in all its 3G footprint, covering 350 cities and towns, equal to 45 percent of Romanian population.
The operator will soon launch HSDPA 14.4 Mbps, as soon as devices become available.
